Artist Mami Weber discusses her artwork with a viewer at Gallery 9 in Los Altos during her exhibition’s opening celebration on Friday. Weber said she paints in watercolor because of the medium's capacity for organic movement. "I allow the paint to move freely, accepting what cannot be fully controlled," Weber said.
